How can Amy help me?

Document design

Whether it’s a report, strategic plan, capability statement or brochure, documents are written for a clear purpose and to a particular audience. Great design invites you in, encourages you to turn the page and become immersed in the content within.

Information design
Don’t lose the impact of your data or message in a wall of words. Information graphics (or infographics) show your audience what you mean. Infographics are one of the most powerful ways to communicate with complex data. They are a visually compelling communication medium that done well, can communicate complex data in a visual format and present it in a visual shorthand. Information is beautiful!

Program identity design

For programs and projects that involve multiple types of collateral (for example reference guides, presentations, videos and handouts), consistency in the look and feel of that collateral is critical to its success. Consistency communicates a cohesive and well thought out approach which instantly elicits a feeling of confidence from the reader. Program identity design can include logos, colours, fonts, style of icons, photography and illustrations, and even the way in which elements move across a screen in a video.

Video and animation
The average person processes 285 pieces of content every day! Movement can be a great way to capture your audience’s attention and create an impactful interaction. When it comes to video, Amy can work with your existing footage or bring onboard a local videographer to capture fresh new footage. If you need a professional voiceover to accompany your video or animation, Amy can help with that too.
Interactive PDF tools

Interactive PDF tools are a great way to present a large volume of information to an audience without overwhelming them. They are especially useful when the large volume of information is confidential or sensitive in nature or can’t be readily hosted on a website or intranet. Check out the case study below for an example of when an interactive PDF tool was an especially effective solution for one of Amy’s Government clients.
Given the confidential nature of these products, it is not appropriate to display them in this forum.

CASE STUDIES
How Amy used information design to get senior stakeholder buy-in on a detailed business case
This confidential client had a 260-page business case that needed senior stakeholder approval. To help engage the stakeholders, Amy developed a three-page infographic as a summary to accompany the detailed business case.
The infographic used visual storytelling, incorporating data and statistics, to guide stakeholders through the problem and the evaluation of possible options before introducing the proposed solution.
Amy established an emotional connection by highlighting the pain points associated with the issue, while also building confidence in the project team by demonstrating that all potential solutions had been thoroughly explored. Finally, the infographic presented the proposed solution clearly and compellingly.
The stakeholders were able to quickly understand the issues at play and felt informed about the potential challenges and opportunities for the future, which put them in the right frame of mind to digest the full business case.
